I perfectly agree with akaa's really well written views on CBSE pattern of education. Ramesh too seems to partially agree with English language posing problems at higher stages of education for a child. Parents, please let me know which is the best school around TNagar, Nungambakkam or Adyar for my twin kids of 3 years old as I am a bit jittery now over this admissions, coming to know its very difficult to get a good school in Chennai.
I have recently moved to Chennai from Chandigarh. I Agree Dr. Ramesh's stand, the relevancy of the board is evaporated after a level is reached by a student. Pls visit my site to comment on the problem I am facing with the matric school I have put my son. Folks, Whatever the board could be and whatever the syllabus could be, if the student is not able to grasp, digest, think in the modern way, that is mere a waste.
Also, if you see, one class teacher teaches in one method and other in different. Now-a-says, teachers are not explaining the concepts well. That is the area the kids are lacking in understanding. In olden days, teachers used to ask all kids whether they understood, but now, we can hardly see that. Everything is commercial. Also, I believe, parents need to give xtra care regarding the curriculam and the way the kid is grasping the things and can explain back for better understanding.

Machiour: You have a valid point and let me correct my perception. Love to hear other's views. Hi All, hope all parents and children are doing Gr8!! Regards , Shenbagam. As mentioned earlier, a whole can be written on this topic as a long war has been going on for a decade now as to which board for secondary education is the best or, as we say, CBSE vs.
Before announcing any particular board for secondary education as the best one, let us first understand what these boards teach and how they differ. This board for secondary education affiliates an international curriculum and is best for your child if you, as a parent, keep moving from one part of the world to another.
It emphasizes on the growth of the child in areas in which no other board for secondary education pays attention to. For example, it focuses not only on academic growth but on the vocational growth of each student.
Thus it provides a radical approach and builds the social skills of the students. CBSE board for secondary education is understood to be comparatively easier than ICSE; this board is said to be the masters in theoretical knowledge, whereas the ICSE board for secondary education is more into the practical approach of teaching, and that sets apart the difference between these two. This board for secondary education keeps your child updated with world affairs and acquires a holistic approach to learning.
It provides regional education and gives more importance to traditional and local culture; it is not given much reputation between CBSE or ICSE boards for secondary education. It gives mentoring in a third language and thus makes your children bilingual. If you want your children to go for local and state-level government opportunities, this board for secondary education perfectly shapes your ward.
By this method, the students and the teacher would be able to plan the study of the variety of divisions of the syllabus correctly and efficiently. It is an autonomous body. The state syllabus is dependent on the government of that particular State. For each state, a separate education board would be available. The syllabus would then be decided by them as per the normal standards.
The mode of instruction of this type of study will include English as well as the regional language. While the CBSE syllabus offers education in a more scientific method, the state syllabus gives more importance to practical implication of related subjects.
Another main differentiator amid the two is that, the former is considered much better than the latter. In case the students transfer from one state to another, the transition will be marginally easier for them. This would not be similar in case of the State syllabus students. It would be difficult for some to adjust to the syllabus of another Government school. Name required. Mail will not be published required. Sir I am in class 10 now presently i am in Morena M.
